I am looking at a messy desk and wishing I could just take the day off and bake cookies or make homemade mac and cheese. But I really need to get to my desk. The piles have steadily flowed off the desk, onto the floor, and now out into the hallway. It started with a previous organization attempt. I made good progress but still have not found permanent homes for many of my office items, including everything I have to file. Why does it take me so much energy to organize papers?! Aaaah. Sometimes I wonder if I just threw everything out would I miss it? Probably not most of it, but inevitably something very important would be in the midst of it all, and I would end up missing THAT.
Oh well. I guess this is what a Sunday afternoon is for. But instead, and aside from baking or making mac and cheese, I would also like to write about ALL that has been happening in my life! Holy craziness! Happy happy days, lots of changes ahead, but I will have to get all caught up on that once. I. finish. cleaning. my. messy. office.
Bore.
But I promise to return soon.
PS. In my head, I am designing a little work studio for my backyard, all tidy and clean like this photo.

A couple years ago I went to Home Depot and bought a crate that holds hanging file folders, and a plethora of folders in different colors...then filed all my papers. One color for car papers, one for school and loans....etc... dorky, but it has helped me to stay soooo organized!!!
